This was my first time taking my car in for service at a dealership and boy was I blown away.
Took my C300 in for a weird noise I started hearing in the back and abnormal fuel consumption. Turns out it was a faulty suction jet pump (part of the fuel pump) which was handled under warranty.
This place just looked incredible, the main showroom floors are set up really cool, down stairs is the service floor which has a pretty amazing lounge. iPads and leather couches to hang out with while you wait either for your car or for your Service Advisor to come meet you. They had a pretty decent spread of bagels, croissants, brioche bread, juice/coffee and enough donuts to make you feel like Homer Simpson
The automatic door you bring your car through on the street leads you down a long spiral drive into one of the 3 sub levels, the entire place is 330,000 square feet but you wouldn't know it from the outside.
My Service Advisor and the Tech who came to meet me were super cool and walked me through everything. We did a test drive and then I was back to talk to the Service Advisor who kept insisting he get me something to eat or drink. When we got to his desk a person who was nearby stopped what they were doing and pulled my chair out for me, which both confused me and made me feel important.
All in all great experience, everything was covered under warranty which is probably why this was a happy experience rather than a wallet draining complaint post.
And my C300 made a friend!
Here are some cars I saw on my way to the dealership
Peep the guy with the stroller, he was thinking damn that thing can baby and it looks bad ass.
It started pouring raining and this Lamborghini screamed by, sorry the pic is grainy I cropped it because I took it from like 500 ft away.
And lastly, passed by some Armored Car dealership and saw this in the window
TL;DR: Took my car in, fixed under warranty, I'm happy and I got to see some nice cars.

Down here is the service area where you meet your Service Advisor or meet your tech. Also you drop off your car and pick it up down here. There are 2 more floors below this floor that include the shop and the storage where they keep other cars that are being worked on and parts. The place is built like MI-6 just massive levels and secret entrances.

damn that's so sick, makes all the dealerships around me (suburbs outside of DC) look boring, even the Bentley/Aston/Mclaren

I've been to other dealerships but nothing was on the level of this, it just blew me away in from the looks to the service. I even asked me SA if there were any openings on detailing or prepping cars but he told me they have a 3rd party company that hires the people for that. I wouldn't mind doing part time work at this place just a cool vibe.

yeah that'd be a badass place to work, even if it's just washing cars.
It's off 11th avenue right? I don't live in the area.. Visited a few times though. Never been in there, I should definitely try to check it out though.

Yup 53rd and 11th, quite a walk from the train. I suggest stopping in to have a look around it's quite impressive. They launch the S Class Coupe tomorrow and are having a mini little release party, my SA said I could attend if I let him know but I have class tomorrow after work.
I want to go back after they get the AMG GT!

I'm gonna be in the city for a few days around November 5th, got a long weekend, no school!
I definitely wanna stop by after the AMG GT releases. I went to a little event when the F-type came out. It's funny, I guess they thought I was a trust fund kid or something but they tried to sell ME one as soon as I walked away from my dad haha.

Haha, I wish. I'm not even licensed yet (March can't come any quicker) but hopefully I'll be driving either a manual C300 or something more fun like an E36 by this summer.
